ROTC - RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS
MUIDS’ Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) allows Thai students to fulfil their military obligation.
A once a week session on Saturday drills students in military fundamentals: how to march in line, handle weapons, work in teams, and maintain physical fitness. A fitness program prepares incoming students for ROTC’s physical demands. Students must pass a physical exam to gain admittance.
Each year students attend a training camp. They work as a team to overcome challenges that test their stamina, develop their confidence, and shape their character.
They will enter ROTC program as teenagers. They will leave as leaders.
